Marketing Associate - North America
Why this role exists
LemonEdge is the system ofintelligence for private markets. We have closed a $21m Series A led byBlackstone Innovation Investments, North America is our largest market, and wedo not yet have a marketer on the ground there.
Building relationships in ameaningful way is critical to our success. You will know which room a CFO will turnup to, run the channels that put our people in front of them before theyarrive, and make sure every conversation afterwards becomes a relationship we keepbuilding.
This is a hands-on role. You dothe work, you own the outcome, and you have a direct line to the Head ofMarketing and our C-Suite.
You will be based with theLemonEdge team in midtown in Manhattan no fewer than two days per week. You will also be able to travel domestic andglobally for events.
What you will own
The room. You own ourNorth American events agenda end to end: the dinners and programs we hostourselves, the conferences we show up at, and the client moments in between.Calendar, venue, vendors, budget, staffing, on-site delivery and supporting thesales team with follow-up.
Our guests are C-suite andfounding partners at some of the largest private equity firms and fundadministrators in the world. They are ultra-high-net-worth, short of time, andturn down most of the invitations they receive. They notice the room, the seatingplan and the wine list. Earning their yes is the job.
That takes someone with theirfinger on the pulse. You know which restaurant opened last month and whichprivate dining room is worth the minimum spend. You know the difference betweena members’ club that impresses a managing partner and one that reads as tryingtoo hard.
Digital. You have anatural ability for social. You will be able to run our LinkedIn presence dayto day: editorial calendar, publishing, engagement and the performance numbersbehind it. You will work across the business to raise both personal and thebusiness profiles. You will help us build on X and short-form video. You knowwhat a good hook looks like, you can cut a clip from an event on your phonebefore the car arrives, and you watch what lands and do more of it. You decidewhat goes out and when, inside an agreed brand and content framework.
The two halves of this role feedeach other. The dinner becomes the post, and the post fills the next dinner.
AI. You already run yourday on it and you have opinions about it. We mean more than having triedChatGPT. You have workflows, you know where models save you hours and where theiroutput still needs your judgment, and you bring new tools to the team beforeanyone asks. You might not have all of the answers, but you have the mindset togo find them.
Client touchpoints. Ourphysical touchpoints with clients and prospects across North America: what wesend, to whom, when, and what it returns in meetings and pipeline.
What you will support
• Marketing strategy. You will be in the room with theHead of Marketing and Chief Growth Officer as we shape it, and we expect you tobring ideas rather than wait for a brief
• Competitive and market monitoring across privatemarkets technology
Who you are
You have 3+ years of marketingexperience, ideally in B2B technology, financial services, or an agency servingeither. Time spent around a UHNW or C-suite audience, in private banking, wealth, luxury, private members’ clubs or high-end hospitality, is a strongadvantage. You may not have worked in private markets, and that is fine. Wewill teach you the asset class.
You are the one friends textwhen they need a restaurant. You know what is opening, what is overrated andwho to call. You volunteer before you are asked, you are comfortable being theonly marketer in your time zone, and you make real progress without a managerin the next room. You write clearly and quickly, and you are unbothered by a200-person conference and a client dinner in the same 24 hours.
You will need existingauthorization to work in the United States, as we are unable to offer visasponsorship for this role.
Tools
LinkedIn, X, Pipedrive, Canva orFigma, CapCut or similar, an email platform, and whatever AI tooling youalready run your day on.
