UI/ UX Designer/ Developer
We are hiring our first dedicated UI/UX Designer to shape and elevate the LemonEdge user experience.
The role will initially focus on modernising our WPF application and moving it so the web, improving themes, icons, navigation, and interaction design. Over time, you’ll play a key role in our transition to a web-based platform, shaping the design language and ensuring intuitive, consistent user journeys across all products.
You’ll collaborate closely with our product, development, and implementation teams to gather requirements, build prototypes, and deliver elegant, functional design solutions. This is a high-impact role where you’ll set the foundations for UI/UX practice at LemonEdge.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in partnership with Product, Development, and Implementation teams.
- Define and embed UI/UX processes into our SDLC.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Design and modernise user interface elements (menus, widgets, navigation, search, etc.).
- Build mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate functionality and style.
- Present design concepts and iterations to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into design cycles.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (responsiveness, accessibility, usability).
- Conduct user feedback sessions and translate insights into design improvements.
- Support the long-term migration from WPF to web-based platforms.
About You – Ideal Profile
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: 5–10 years in UI/UX design, ideally in enterprise SaaS, FinTech, or complex product environments.
- Technical: Hands-on experience with web-based frameworks (namely React and Blazor). Previous experience in C# WPF applications would be a significant bonus.
- Design Tools: Proficient in Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent.
- Approach: Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.
- Attributes: Entrepreneurial, curious, and delivery-focused with excellent time management.
- Education: BSc in Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
What Success Looks Like (KPIs & Metrics)
- Successful delivery of UI / UX revamp in collaboration with UI / UX team within 1 year
- Positive feedback from internal users and clients on usability improvements (tracked via surveys/NPS).
- Integration of UI/UX design practices into product lifecycle and sprint planning.
- Delivery of prototypes and design systems for the upcoming web-based platform.
