Pre Sales Consultant- US
As a Pre-Sales Consultant (IC), you will play a pivotal role in winning new clients by bridging the gap between technical product capabilities and client business requirements. Partnering with Sales Directors, Account Executives and fellow PreSales Team members, you will engage directly with prospects, demonstrating the value of LemonEdge’s platform, crafting tailored solutions, and ensuring a smooth transition into implementation. This role is hands-on, client-facing, and highly consultative, requiring both strong technical acumen and the ability to build trust with C-level stakeholders in financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Discovery & Design
- Partner with Account Executives to understand client business needs, technical environments, and investment operations workflows.
- Build out client’s complex accounting use cases into the LemonEdge platform for in-depth proof of concepts lasting from an hour to multiple days
2. Pre-Sales Engagement
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to CFOs, COOs, CTOs, and investment teams.
- Demonstrate proof-of-concept solutioning and delivery inclusive of system configuration, data migration and report building as required
- Create solution proposals, technical documentation, and ROI cases that articulate business value.
3. Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with Product and Implementation teams to ensure proposed solutions are viable and scalable.
- Assist in the production of standardized solutions for different industry vertical problem areas to assist sales team members in scaling demonstrations
- Support marketing initiatives (webinars, events, RFP responses, whitepapers) by providing product and domain expertise.
Experience & Skills
Essential:
• 5+ years’ experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or a client-facing technical role within SaaS, FinTech, or financial software.
• Strong understanding of private equity / alternative investment accounting, reporting, or fund administration.
• Proven ability to deliver high-impact product demos and workshops to senior stakeholders.
• Strong technical literacy (APIs, integrations, data flows) and ability to explain complex concepts simply.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
Desirable:
• Experience with fund accounting platforms (e.g., Investran, eFront, Allvue, or similar).
• Prior exposure to SaaS scale-ups or high-growth environments.
• RFP/RFI response experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Excel modeling, or BI tools.
