Frequently asked questions
Yes. All the standard cell-based formulae, functions, calculations, etc are the same in LemonEdge Algorithms as in Microsoft Excel. In addition, any Excel Macro or VBA processing can also be imported into LemonEdge using the system’s unique low-code capabilities.
Yes. Any data from the LemonEdge database can be pulled directly into an Algorithm making for a very convenient method of getting at the information required for any calculation or process. Equally, any results arising from an Algorithm can be saved back into the LemonEdge database, including complex results such as accounting transactions.
Algorithms are for all practical purposes indistinguishable from Excel workbooks, which means that anyone familiar with Excel can immediately use Algorithms in the same way (though pulling/pushing data from/to the LemonEdge database does require additional knowledge).
